I have done my best to identify everything Bear Grylls uses in each episode. Bear is always on the move though, so if you spot something that is not covered here, leave a comment and I will track it down.

ReplyDeleteGood question, It's hard to tell for sure in some episodes, because the film crew has a habit of not focusing on the brand or logo very close or often. But he did offer a backpack called the BreaPac via Craghoppers only in the UK. In the US it's not available and might be out of production all together too. I'll do a post soon on the backpacks Bear uses. Follow the RSS feed under "Subscribe" at the top right to see the post right when it's released.

So what does Bear use in Alaska, He is standing in freezing mountain streams and it doesn't seem to keep him too wet. What shoes, jacket, pants, outer shell and inner shell. I live in Alaska and would love to get his insight on the matter.

DeleteIn the Dominican Republic episode, he has some kind of Paracord around his shoulder tied to either side of his belt. What kind of loop system is he using? It looks like a series of circles interlaced, but it's one continuous piece of 550 cord.
